Yael Deckelbaum is an award winning Israeli-Canadian singer, songwriter and activist. We are very happy to welcome her back to Switzerland with her new album "What About The Women" and this year in addition to Zurich also for the first time in Lugano and Geneva!

After singing for four years in women marches all over the world, with anthem "Prayer of the Mothers", the song that turned into an international peace anthem, shared by millions on the web, Yael Deckelbaum goes on stage once again with new songs and and insights inspired by her collective and personal journey.

Alone on stage, with her guitar, Yael will share her story and sing old and new songs, leading the audience through a musical journey beyond all boundaries, in her unique authentic bold manner, going directly into the heart.

To describe Yael Deckelbaum's music as world music does not do justice to the multifaceted artist. She has been one of Israel's best-known musicians for many years and also enchants people worldwide with her unique sound. Her albums have been certified platinum several times. "Yael & The Mothers" is a project that is very close to the singer's heart and with which she stands up for peace and women's rights.
