The 57th Geneva International Horse Show will be held from 7th to 10th December 2017. Nearly 400 horses and 120 competitors will come together at Palexpo over the four days to offer the public some top-level sport charged with emotion.
Voted the world's best event for the 8th time last December, CHI Geneva will stage the same four disciplines of show jumping, dressage, indoor cross-country and driving as in 2016.
Show jumping will be top of the bill, culminating with the Rolex Grand Prix, one of the legs of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping. Created 4 years ago, the Grand Slam has grown this year to accommodate a 4th Major, the Dutch Masters of 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands.
The Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final, another of the discipline's highlights, will once again be held at Palexpo, as will the Credit Suisse Grand Prix and the Credit Suisse Geneva Classic, both major CHI competitions. CHI Geneva always has the younger generation in mind, so there will be a new team event for the young Swiss talent.
Three dressage competitions will be in the programme. Following the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Spécial will come the real climax, the Freestyle to Music. Last but not least, the Indoor Cross-country race and the round of the Driving World Cup presented by RTS will once again thrill the Palexpo crowd.
As always there will be various attractions to supplement the main programme, offering spectators an indoor equestrian festival without rival in Europe.
