2019 marks the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II and the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings in Normandy to liberate western Europe. To commemorate these events, a gala charity concert will be held on Saturday 9 November in the Rosey Concert Hall at the world famous Le Rosey school, Rolle. The concert will be in aid of the Invictus Games Foundation, which was established by HRH Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, to organize biennial Games for handicapped ex-Armed Services personnel from all countries. The concert will feature the Brass Band Arquebuse, the Power of Lemania Pipe Band, and the "In Remembrance" Choir, with an accompanying narrative delivered by Maj. Gen. Roderick Porter, MBE.
